GICA’s achievements in the field of research, development and innovation take different forms:
-Encourage and support Tunisian canneries to adhere to the national research and innovation programs PNRI; PIRD, ITP…
-Anticipate and participate in technological developments relevant to the profession, by conducting collective research programs chosen by professionals and supported by public authorities.
-Participate in innovation in general and more particularly in its transfer to the industrialists (visit national and international technology fairs and events…).
-To ensure the dissemination of the knowledge acquired by the scientific programmes and partnerships, through seminars, publications or training to these members.
The GICA also welcomes students each year as part of the completion projects and thus provides co-frameworks with the different institutions of higher education.
To carry out all of these missions, the IPAC establishes collaborations with the actors of agri-food research and development: research institutes, transfer centers, technopoles, competitiveness centers…
