The GICA laboratory has an experimental analytical potential for the research and determination of harmful chemical or biological residues in food products.

It is equipped with a trace testing room (Sudan dyes and histamine), equipped with an HPLC chain (equipped with a UV/Visible detector and a fluorometric detector).

The laboratory carries out the following tests:

  • Products derived from harissa: Research and dosage of the sudden dye by HPLC / Regulation (EEC) N ° 2004/92 / CE of the commission of 21/01/2004
  • Fresh fish and canned fish: Determination of histamine by HPLC / Order of 19/09/1998 (Jort N ° 79 of 10/02/98)
