In accordance with Law No. 93-84 of 26 July 1993, GICA’s members are the physical and moral persons having the status of farmers, processors or exporters of agricultural or processed products.
Members’ obligations:
- To work towards the achievement of the Group’s missions,
- Respect the board’s decisions,
- Safeguard the Group’s assets and interests,
- To provide the group’s administration with all information and data required in the interest of the sector and necessary for the group’s missions,
- Respect the measures and standards set by the Group in collaboration with the bodies concerned aiming to promote the production and the quality of products in the sector and, in general, the achievement of the Group’s missions.
Members’ rights:
- Participate in the group’s administration according to the terms and conditions defined by the standard statutes of the Groupings (see decree n°94-1165 of May 23, 1994),
- To benefit from the Group’s services under the conditions laid down in Decree no. 94-1165 of May 23, 1994 and from all the advantages that the Group can provide to its members within the framework of its missions,
- Present all proposals and suggestions relating to the activity of the Group
