The processing of tomatoes for the 2019 campaign continues across 24 factories distributed as follows:

Daily reception over the past period has ranged from 19 to 22 thousand T.

The quantities of tomatoes processed on July 23rd reached 445 thousand T, compared with 379 thousand on the same date last year.

Of the 24 factories in operation, 13 canneries in Cap-bon have processed nearly half of the harvest to date, followed by the factories in the northwest region.

Nearly 60% of the area planted with this crop was harvested, particularly in the Kairouan and Cap-bon regions.
