Regarding the consumption of canned food, canned fish (Tuna, Sardines and mackerel) occupy the 3rd place nationally after tomato paste and Harissa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Resulting from a canning process that does not require any additives or preservatives, canned fish have the particularity of preserving the original qualities of the fish, thus keeping interesting nutritive contributions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Canned tuna<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Canned tuna, the favorite fish of Tunisians, is easily combined with dishes. It is an ideal source of protein, selenium and numerous vitamins. It also serves to protect the cardiovascular and nervous systems as well as bone and muscle mass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among all fish, it is the richest in protein (almost 30g of protein\/100g), it is also rich in <strong>Vitamins D and B<\/strong>, <strong>Phosphorus<\/strong>, <strong>docosahexaenoic acid (DHA)<\/strong>, and <strong>antioxidants.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>&nbsp;Canned sardines<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Most often eaten in sandwiches, canned sardines should be more valued in Tunisia. This small fish represents a mine of nutritional virtues, thanks to its richness in <strong>Omega 3, vitamins B12<\/strong> <strong>and D<\/strong>, <strong>calcium<\/strong>, <strong>phosphorus<\/strong> and <strong>protein<\/strong> (24g of protein \/ 100g).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Best eaten with its bones, canned sardines contribute to the strengthening of the bones, the immune system, and the proper functioning of the muscle mass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Canned mackerel<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Canned in Tunisia, mackerel is also a fatty fish known for its multiple nutritional qualities, namely, its richness in <strong>Iodine<\/strong>, <strong>Omega 3<\/strong>, <strong>protein<\/strong> (20g protein\/100g), and <strong>Vitamins D and B12<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\"><strong>At each age, its canned fish<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&nbsp;Among children and teenagers:<\/strong> All fish are recommended at this age, especially sardines, which contribute to a perfect bone growth. The recommended daily doses are of the order of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>30g &#8211; 3 years<\/li><li>50g &#8211; 5 years<\/li><li>100g &#8211; 10 years<\/li><li>150g \u2013 Teenager<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Adults:<\/strong> All fish are recommended at this age.
